Neighbors taking care of neighbors.
Voters in Moniteau and Morgan counties formed Mid-Mo Ambulance District on June 28, 1977. We started out with volunteers and switched to paid, on-duty crews in 1995.
Today we cover about 965 square miles and run about 4,900 calls a year. We have 11 ambulances, and 4 are staffed 24/7 from our bases.
Our crews follow strict protocols, backed by a quality assurance program. "Excellence is our Responsibility."

The Board meets the second Wednesday of every month at the Tipton admin office, 221 S Moreau Ave, Tipton.
